It’s a philosophy built on strong foundations. Back in 1979, when Michael Harrison’s search for retirement options for his mother failed to deliver anything he felt was inclusive enough he decided to create something himself, and The Village Retirement Group was born.
Today, the sense of belonging, genuine connection and quality of lifestyle that he wanted his mother to feel have helped Michael and his son Justin create five thriving communities in Coorparoo, Redcliffe, Taigum, Toowoomba and Yeronga, with more than 1,650 people currently calling The Village home.
